What is Medicine's mission
does it care for your health?
For the modern physician
it is transfer of wealth.
First they add all their magic
to the foods, so they keep,
then they sing of the tragic
and so ill-conceived sleep.
Not a day can be gotten
no extensions to life,
when the apple is rotten
fermentation is rife.
Put true food in your belly
do not trust men of greed,
let the backdoor be smelly
it is faith that you need.
All the merchants of potions
who will charge for their wares,
harbour sinister notions
under stockmarket shares.
So take charge of your journey
but beware and don't mock
any pain at McBurney
run, don't walk to your doc.


Note:

McBurney's point is located on the right side of the human abdomen between the umbilicus and the anterior superior iliac spine. It is closer to the ASIS and may signal appendicitis as it is overlying the attachment of the appendix to the cecum.
