How can I remeber you

I asked naively
surrounded by them
from morning till night
they hold a more attractive promise
and instant gratification
You are ethereal and they material
they have figures breathtaking
and you are invisible as the wind
How do I manage to hold on to you
and God just smiled
and the wind ruffled my hair
and blew a scent to my nostrils
a perfume never smelt before
Which pierced my hearts core
to pieces all my sorrows tore
My soul made love
as if with the infinte cosmos
and the answer to my silly question
was delivered by the Messiah on the cross! ! ! !
