From the 14 th floor
I can see the entire town
hundreds of houses
attached very close
to one another
side by side
the panaromic view
is quite inpirational
and aweinspiring
civilisation spread
to the last limit
of my vision
And I wonder
what would be going on in these
apparent doll houses
a girl dancing to music in one of them
boys playing carrom somewhere
an elderly man
sipping tea lost
in childhood memories
a man and wife making love
to the tunes of some old hindi
film music
and lovers somewhere weaving ethereal dreams
of beauty and roamance
and me and you separated by
millions of miles
create a surreal image....
