R.K. Cowles - Distraught (Dark])

Roaming this barren earth daily
As the sun radiates this terrain
The atmosphere grows hateful
I quest for a quench of comradeship
Aloneness breathes loneliness into my existence

As I proceed lethargicaly dragging myself
Haven't ascertained a destination
Entombed in a sea of earth
Only companion to this void is nothingness

Blistered palms and knees upon the asphalt
Detecting amidst my vicinity this meloncholy doing somersaults
An object within digesting my mentality
That being constructs a barrier of disorientation
I am the recipient of its relentless mischief
