Genius is a word often attributed to undeserving albeit brilliant people
But the word should be reserved for those who are insane
For they are the smartest amongst all so called
With their coruscations of angst and ire
Given that it is enough in today’s society to merely light a fire
In the eyes of the beholding and decapitated heads at stake
For they cannot lead a horse to water
Or a sheep away from the fatality of the cliff
But will learn as have all before them
That we must and will eventually find our way
And that all life ends in the same way it begins
With a whimper or a bang it matters not
For there is no other absolute of mankind
Than the genius of being insane…
