Saving me

Bringing me up
When I am down.

You sympathize with me

You connect me
To the wide, wide world
When I am alone.

You support me
When my steps falter
And I fall short of my goals.

You teach me, be example,
How to become
A much better woman, and

You guide me,
Through life's tangled maze,
Showing me the way home.

Some Family you are born with,
But some, if you are lucky, you find,
Flying beside you, wingtip to wingtip,
Together through the bright blue sky.

You are never alone,
Left to face life....
Not, at least, as long
As you have Friends
By your side.
