The tortoise wore a top hat,
to hide that he was bald.
He felt really self-conscious,
and hated being called.

He’s off to the party,
to the reptile dance.
He’s splashed on his aftershave,
now he’s looking for romance.

The dance music was blaring,
music filled the park.
The disco ball was spinning,
lighting up the dark.

He saw a lady tortoise,
a red dress upon her shell.
Their eyes met across the room,
their hearts began to swell.
