He’s the sunshine in my world,
He’s the air I can not see,
He’s the old tree in my backyard,
He’s the sweetest honey from the bee.
He is the giggle of a three year old,
He’s the first raindropp on the dry land,
He’s the prayer of an old woman,
He’s the lost song from the 60’s band.
He’s the warmth I feel in a cold room,
He’s the strength of a single parent,
He’s the finger that a child held,
He’s the money that was wisely spent.
He’s the first kiss of a teenage girl,
He’s the movie I saw millions of times,
He’s the time that would never pass alone,
He’s the poem that perfectly rhymes.
He’s the sugar coating on an expensive chocolate,
He’s the favorite perfume I always wear,
He’s the old pair of jeans I can never throw out,
He’s the gold coin which would forever stay rare.
He’s the long drive on a starry night,
He’s the heartbeat of a love so blind,
He’s the diamond of an engagement ring,
He’s the only perfect man I could find.
He’s the dream I see with open eyes,
He’s the tattoo I can’t ever get rid of,
He’s the engraving on my beating heart,
He’s the medicine for my cough.
He’s the perfect rose in my garden,
He’s everything I wanted him to be.
He’s the grave I want to be placed next to,
He’s the person who ever dared to love me.
