Kevin Jackal Johnston hates red lights as much as you do. Mississauga's traffic lights are not timed at all, and all of us are wasting time and fuel city-wide on all of our trips.

Green lights and moving traffic. There's no magic to it people, traffic moves when lights turn green and Hamilton our neighbouring city has this down to a science. 　Now for whatever reasons Mississauga has not acquired this technology or simply do not want to incorporate it into our traffic system. 　What they have incorporated into our system are Red Light camera systems that comes with claims of increased safety. 　The fact of the matter is no conclusive study has proven this because those in the know, know that each intersection is different in many ways. 　Conducting a conclusive study would require a minimum of five years and one would have to be done for each and every Red Light Camera intersection. 　This Red Light Camera is also a source of major income for the city of Mississauga. Aside from this the city of Mississauga is in dire need of incorporating a green light system to move traffic. Idling traffic is costly for consumers and a money maker for the petrol companies. It should not take 50 minutes to travel from one end of Mississauga to the other end. 　Time for serious change. Vote Kevin Jackal Johnston.
