I apologize for the lack of updates once again, but I was suddenly struck with the desire to get some writing done. If any of you have been following my stories on Fimfiction, then you'll know just how rare it is for me to be in a writing mood. For those of you who are readers, look forward to new chapters of "It's Time to Duel" and "Six Best Friends Play Diplomacy" in the next week or two!
As promised, here's the other casting I was considering for the part of Captain Hook in my most recent set. For some reason I just couldn't decide between the two of them for the longest time. Thankfully they were both unicorns, so the other pirate parts didn't have to wait on this decision. See, Rarity exemplifies Hook's classical side, and that proper act he was always trying to put on, plus when Rarity freaks out its very similar to how Hook reacts to ticking. Trixie, on the other hand, had Hook's show-off-edness to a tee, and their boisterous way of speaking was almost identical. Each had parts of Hook, but neither more than the other.
In the end I decided to let the PMVs decide it for me and after I was done, I just liked Trixie's version better. She was a bit more energetic. I suppose I could have tried harder for Rarity, but when Rarity goes crazy, it's usually more "coo-coo" crazy or angry crazy than happy crazy. I don't know, arguments for both sides, but I think it's personal preference in the end.
I do not own My Little Pony or Disney, nor do I have that tattoo anymore. They washed it off for me after I complained, so that's good. The bad news is they were serious about the walking the plank part too. Wish me luck...(jumps)
