A cargo plane has crashed in the Kenyan capital Nairobi killing the pilot and three other crew members on aboard.
TV footage taken from the crash site showed the aircraft had been transporting tonnes of the mild drug Khat when hit a commercial building shortly after take off from the city’s main international hub.
The plane had reportedly been heading to the Somali capital of Mogadishu.
Early investigations into the accident suggest the plane had been flying low and might have hit an electrical pole before crashing.
Recently banned in Britain, Khat remains popular in parts of east Africa, particularly in Ethiopia and Somalia.
