This is the moment the Italian navy reaches a fishing boat crammed with hundreds of migrants off the coast of Sicily.
But once they boarded the boat they made a gruesome discovery.
They found as many as 30 bodies.
The dead are believed to have either suffocated on this overcrowded boat or drowned.
As news of this latest tragedy broke the Italian navy revealed that teams rescued more than five thousand people over the weekend alone.
Italy says it can't absorb the growing number of migrants and has called on the EU for help.
It underlines the huge scale of the crisis, where already this year, tens of thousands of migrants, have set out from North Africa in overcrowded and often unseaworthy boats in a desperate attempt to reach Europe and flee poverty and war.
