The fruits of love are sweet duly ripened;
Cared by the sun, the rain and watchful eye
As fruits could be with maladies sickened,
The same with love that with neglect dies;
Some fruits may not of freshness boast as gain,
Like seedless grapes that would to raisins turn;
As must be love that rekindles again
When rediscovered passions soon return;
But fruit when not prematurely taken,
Is best, attached to branch by which sustained;
Neither should by foliage it be hidden,
Lest chance is nil for it to be obtained;
.......And love that bears its fruits for a reason,
.......Luckily, never goes out of season.
