O’ God, my dear God,
Why have you taken away;
Hurting our souls so bad.
Our dear boy to lands far away?
So tender, bright and sweet;
Shaping ’self right after father
Standing on his own feet
Winning hearts of all together
Jealous are you?
Else what?
‘To err is human.’ it’s said
Wanna prove this saying wrong?
‘To err is divine too.’
No one said so. Never.
May be, yes, you do
Wanna prove this thing right?
Just tell me why
Have you written?
The un-writable wrong
On the fate of our Sir.
Know you not God
You took a piece of us all,
When you pulled him away,
Leaving broken our hearts ‘n’ all?
Know us all
Can’t undo what was done.
So we pray you now
‘Preserve our boy.’
Give him love and care
Protect him from pain
Shelter him from sun’s heat
Wrap him from chill’s wrath
Save him for us, my God
In good health and cheer
Free from many a fear
Till we all reach him.
