An empty cup of coffee
and I am staring at it
I know not why
what remains is a litltle froth on the sides
beautiful yet empty bubbles
and without you by my side
my condition is like that cup
something that held flavours divine
but now mere froth
and lo you come
love touches me again
and I am oveflowing
delight and renewed vigour
my cup of creativity is all ready to ovefrlow
once more
once more I can compose
and say in a million ways
how much in all these years
I have missed you
walked numerous lonely walks
seen the rain fall
and leave my life still parched
and then you comewith the majesty of a Godess
blow all my sadnes away
inspire me to create
song of beauty and love
fill my life with your vivaciousness
and for all this
