Love...
Only and always love.
All who live yearn for the illusion
so few will ever find.
Happy not are the dreamers
and the wishers,
for they are never satisfied.
Happy are the ones who
are content in companionship
and comfortable simply with mutual respect
and trust.
Myself?
I am the dreamer,
the wisher,
the fool who'd think companionship
could someday
be followed by
love.
