Silent night;
Holy night;
Wintry night;
Snowy night;
Starry night.

Manger sight;
Lantern light;
Lovely light;
Heavenly sight.

Christ babe’s plight;
Prophecy right;
Shepherds sight;
Angels white.

On a bed of straw and hay!
A new-born King just lay;
Born of a virgin, Aye!
Early on Christmas day.

Some Shepherds heard a Fay;
Heaven and earth looked gay;
Savior born, come what may!
Kings came to homage pay;
And in the divine way!

Joy, love, peace always stays;
This, the Bible says.
Nev’rtheless,
Humans fight!
