Robert Edgar Burns - Storms In The Desert

How many storms in the desert
Can be found in the words that we write?
When others are lost and feeling lonely,
Have we sent them our songs in the night?

Which of us have so encouraged,
Another to forget doing harm?
Or even to trade their indifference,
For a warning to spread an alarm.

How many hearts have we pricked then,
As a rose in it's splendor may do,
With tears that we shed for our loved ones,
And have others then sharing them too?

How many Knights does a king need
To champion the cause of peace?
I think for certain it begins with poets.
Who share their love and own beliefs.
