Hong Kong Fashion Extravaganza, to be held on 13 January 2014, will bring western and eastern fashion lifestyles together in one exclusive gala presentation. The 2014 show will feature the spectacular collections of four world-renowned fashion designers, including Calla Haynes.
Calla Haynes was born in Toronto, and has been living in Paris for the past ten years. After attending Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris, she worked with Olivier Theyskens at Rochas and Nina Ricci where she honed her textile and print design skills.
The CALLA collection is based on Haynes' idea of "relaxed luxury" -- a brand that is unique and crafted, while at the same time modern and easy to wear. Her original print designs are the foundation of each collection. She is also committed to sourcing remarkable and creative fabrics from top -- level mills in Italy and France, and beyond.
Samsung, April 77, Honest By and 3Suisses have all called on Calla for collaborations. She continues to consult and design textiles for fashion brands around the world.
