Four people have been found dead inside a roughly million dollar residence in Tampa, Florida. A major fire broke out in the home.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews were sent to the mansion to douse the flames. The efforts went on for several hours, as hot spots continued to spring up.
Detectives were not able to immediately enter the home. The massive, luxurious house reportedly belongs to former tennis player James Blake.
He is a well known athlete in the tennis world, who was, at one time, named the #1-ranked American in the world.
The James Blake Foundation has confirmed that Blake was not inside the house at the time of the fire. It is not yet known if the unidentified victims inside the home were killed in relation to the blaze or by some other cause.
Investigators will most likely be working at the residence for the next couple of days trying to collect whatever shreds of evidence survive the flames. Firefighters said they saw fireworks inside the residence, but did not confirm where they were located.
According to police, Blake did not live in the house and had rented it out. He is not in Florida at this time.
