A 12-year-old girl allegedly threw an infant down from a residence building, causing bone fractures in his head and chest. The girl was captured on surveillance camera kicking and hitting the baby in the building's elevator. Yuan Yuan's (原原) grandmother brought him down the building in an elevator. As they landed, a schoolgirl offered to hold Yuan Yuan as his grandmother pushed his stroller our. But Yuan Yuan was left in the elevator with the girl when the doors of the elevator closed after his grandma. When Yuan Yuan's grandma caught up with the schoolgirl on the 25th floor, the girl told the grandma that the baby had been taken away. Security found him on the ground five minutes later, and sent him to the hospital immediately.

The girl's father denied the accusation, but the infant's family is filing a law suit towards the school girl and her family.
