Old-school blood paternity test fails for suspicious Chinese father

A man from China's Sichuan province sought the help of an ancient Chinese DNA test to confirm his son's identity.

The suspicious father started having doubts when he noticed that his one-year-old son was born with "single eyelids" while both he and his wife have double eyelids. The disparity in their resemblance prompted him to question his wife's fidelity.

One morning, after his wife left, he took a bowl of water, and dripped a drop of both his and his son's blood into it. According to ancient wisdom, the child is confirmed to be the father's if the blood droplets merge.

His wife was outraged by his stupidity when she learned of the test and left him, taking the baby with her. A certified DNA test later confirmed the son as his child.
