The Ukraine parliament has approved a new coalition government.

The parliament backed Arseniy Yatsenyuk as interim prime minister.

The leader outlined his programme and offered a profound warning to the chamber.

He said:” our country is on the brink of economic and political collapse.”

He warned that Ukraine faced threats to its territory and vowed to pursue European integration.
