Kannada actor and Housing Minister of Karnataka State Government Ambareesh have been hospitalised. Rebel Star was suffering from severe chest pain and breathing problem. Ambareesh fell ill around 8.30 pm in the night (Feb 21), and he was immediately rushed to Vikram Hospital in Vasanth Nagar, Bangalore. The actor was kept under cardiac care unit for few minutes and shifted to ward.

Dr Ranganath Nayak, Chief Doctor of Vikram Hospital cleared that there is nothing to worry and Ambareesh will be completely alright within one or two days. He also said that due to excess of stress and work pressure Ambareesh might have fallen sick, which will be normal by taking complete bed rest for few days. Ambareesh's ill-health news spread like a wildfire in the cine and political circles, which made many people to rush to the hospital. Sandalwood Queen and MP of Mandya Lok Sabha Constituency Ramya, producer-actor Rockline Venkatesh and producer Soorappa Babu were some among the famous film personalities, who visited Amabareesh. UT Khadar, Home-Minister of Karnataka also visited to the Hospital and wished Ambi to get well soon. After becoming the Minister, Ambareesh is balancing both film and minister job perfectly. Ambareesh's fans, who were shocked by hearing the news, are praying for the speedy recovery of the actor.
