Ahmedabad: Twelve persons were hospitalized following gas leak from Sun Chemicals in Vatva GIDC area in the city. The gas leakage was reported in phase II of Vatva GIDC (Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation) area at 9 pm yesterday. The surrounding localities were severely affected due to the gas leakage, which also created visibility issues. Situation is under control after the continuous efforts of authorities.
