Heavy fog has blanketed some parts of east China’s Anhui Province since the beginning of this week, causing serious air pollution and severely hampering traffic.

Heavy fog on Tuesday blanketed the city of Bengbu. The fog reduced visibility to less than 20 meters on some roads and caused traffic accidents and even traffic jams on Wednesday morning.

The foggy weather has been seen frequently since the arrival of winter.
