Find the best financial services for you at: SMARTFINANCESOLUTIONS.NET - I filed suit against my landlord and he has now filed bankruptycy is this the end? and am i out my money? - i filed my small claims suit against my landlord of a house i was renting in michigan. it was for security deposit and moving expenses and money for rent since the contract was a rent with option to buy. my landlord forclosed on the home after just 3 months of living there of my 12 month lease. now he has filed bankruptcy and they cancelled my small claims court date. i have lots of written proof that he was going in foreclosure before i signed my contract. if i cant regain my money though small claims court should i pursue actions through a criminal case? any answers or advice would be appreciated. -
