I was told in January that I could hold back my payment for 6 months but the interest would continue to accrue. I called this afternoon and I was told that I could only do the forbearance for 3 months. Is there anyway around this stupid loan and what are the consequences if I do not pay after the 3 months are up. Can I file bankruptcy and clear this loan? Oh p.s the school is no longer in existence. -
