Robbery gone wrong: Marcos Vincente Arenas, 15, was tragically killed when he tried to stop a thief from stealing his iPad on a Las Vegas street on the afternoon of May 16.

Arenas was walking down Charleston Boulevard with his iPad when a white 2002 Ford Expedition pulled up next to him. A man exited the passenger side and grabbed the gadget, but Arenas refused to let him have it. Arenas was dragged back to the vehicle still holding onto the iPad. The car took off as Arenas stumbled, crushing the teen under its wheels. Arenas was later declared dead at the hospital.
