MTV's Teen Wolf may turn into a reality TV show if Noah Graham's wolf bite is actually a werewolf bite. Graham, a 16-year-old Minnesotan was camping with his girlfriend and a few others when he was attacked by a wolf in West Winnie Campground at Lake Winnibigoshish.
According to Graham, he was sitting at a bonfire, talking to his girlfriend around 4 a.m. when the wolf silently sneaked behind. The 75-pound, male wolf chomped down on the back of Graham's head. His girlfriend fled the scene, finding refuge in her jeep -- we'll know we know who NOT to call in case of an emergency.
After a little bit of a struggle, the teenager was able to free his head from the jaws of the wolf. He didn't get off scot-free though, the wolf left an 11-inch gash in the back of the boy's head. Eh, it's nothing 17 staples and a few rabies shots can't fix.
Other campers in the area claimed they too, experienced run-ins with the wolf -- none of them as violent as Grahams. According to those in the area, an animal attempted to get into their tents and even damaged some camping gear.
A wolf matching Graham's description was trapped and killed later in the week. The deceased animal is said to have jaw-alignment deformities as well as a missing canine tooth which may have lead to this rare attack. The wolf most-likely was facing difficulties acquiring large prey.
According to Minnesota's Department of Natural Resources regional enforcement supervisor this attack is the first of it's kind in Minnesota.
