Closing arguments conclude for Jackson trial, Hanks performs Shakespeare play

Closing arguments concluded on Thursday (September 26) in the 21-week trial of Katherine Jackson's wrongful-death lawsuit against concert promoter AEG Live over the death of Michael Jackson. An attorney for the singer's mother finished pleading the family's case to a jury, who will now decide if AEG was ultimately responsible for Jackson's death.

Sir Paul McCartney and Tom Hanks joined friends on stage for the 23rd Annual Simply Shakespeare benefit. The impromptu reading of "The Two Gentlemen of Verona," featured a star-studded cast that included McCartney, Hanks, Rita Wilson and Val Kilmer, and was more about fun than good theater.
