Brad Pitt surprised fans in four different U.S. cities on Thursday (June 06) by making special appearances at screenings for his new film, "World War Z." The actor had a surprise meet and greet with movie goers in Atlanta, Philadelphia, Chicago and Austin. The movie opens globally in late June.

Mel Brooks has received the American Film Institute's Life Achievement Award. The legendary writer and director has been working in show business for more than six decades, and is only one of 11 people to have won an Emmy, Grammy, Tony and Oscar.

One Direction fans get a whiff of this: the boy band has released their own fragrance. Called "Our Moment," the women's perfume contains notes of fresh fruit and seasonal flowers infused with undertones of warm musk. The scent will be sold exclusively at U.K. retailer Harrods starting August 25, and then launch globally in mid September.
