Wayne Brandenburg and his wife Susan met in a Walmart store in 2005. They became a couple and last year, the pair married in the store.
Parks, gyms, and bars are all good places for finding your soulmate. But how about Walmart?
Wayne Brandenburg from North Carolina has been regularly visiting his local Wal-Mart for years.
Back in 2005, he met a woman named Susan at Walmart. They became a couple and last February, the pair, both in their 60s, finally tied the knot.
The wedding ceremony was conducted at Wal-Mart in the layaway department, only several feet away from where they first saw each other. Susan worked as a cashier.
Wayne would always choose her line so he could talk to her. Eventually he asked her out. They went to a Chinese buffet and after that first date, Wayne brought her lunch everyday while she was working.
After a year the couple got engaged and eventually decided to wed at their sentimental Wal-Mart. Susan stated “I feel thankful to Wal-Mart for bringing us together. It's the best thing that ever happened to me in my life.”
