Who says weddings have to be super extravagant? Recently, a couple in Kentucky wed at the burger joint, White Castle.

Craig and Kim Welby said their vows in front of 35 guests at the restaurant.mThe pair got engaged in early February of 2013 while vacationing in Mexico.

Conflicted as to what type of wedding they wanted, Kim decided to enter a radio contest, which provided a wedding bundle including a $500 gift card to a jeweler, a DJ, flowers and a photographer.

White Castle took care of all the food, even providing fish for those celebrating Lent. A culinary arts school crafted the cake, which was made to replicate a giant burger.

Despite jokes from friends, the new bride speaks highly of the classy ceremony stating “ I wouldn't change it for anything. It was so not a White Castle wedding.”

Earlier this year, a couple from Ohio wed at another White Castle establishment in Sharonville. Family, friends and fellow customers were able to witness the ceremony, held on Valentine’s Day.

The pair had received the wedding package from a local radio contest, after telling the story of how they met at the fast food chain.
