KFC menu items are being smuggled to reach Gazans.

How far would you go for chicken?

Gazans are getting a taste of bucket chicken from an unconventional delivery company.

The business specializes in transporting KFC menu items from Egypt to the Gaza Strip by using a smuggling tunnel. The service is advertised on Facebook and thus far, the company isn’t doing too bad, averaging about 10 orders per week, each one costing approximately $30 to cover the illegal movement fee.

One delivery takes about three hours, as each meal comes from a KFC location roughly 35 miles away and the yummy, but presumably cold products are then delivered to the patron’s door. A company spokesperson stated “Most of those who order are people who are accustomed to travel and eat KFC food around the world.”

Last year, a Nigerian man made reports for smuggling chicken in a much less innocent way. He was busted for carrying cocaine, valued at nearly $150,000, in a roasted chicken.
