Nineteen people, including two children, have been shot in New Orleans.

Gunfire erupted at a Mother's Day parade on Sunday.

Ten men, seven women and a girl and a boy - both aged 10 - were hit, according to police.

The children were grazed and are said to be in good condition. Two other victims are undergoing surgery.
