A restaurant menu boasts 'cervical cancer with chips' due to a translation mistake.

Restaurants are always trying to beat the competition with unique dishes.

Well, a diner at an eatery Poland stumbled across a menu item that sounded much less-than-appetizing. The customer, a British tourist issued a complaint after finding “cervical cancer with chips” printed on the formal list of dishes.

32-year-old Owen Durray was the surprised patron at the Bee Jays restaurant. He says “I wanted something fishy but I didn't expect this.”

Apparently the blunder was a translation mistake which somehow made its way onto the menu and into public hands before it was caught. The item was supposed to be crayfish, which is what was translated to ‘cervical cancer’. The restaurant has apologized for the error.

A chip shop chain in the Netherlands is unveiling a menu item that will cause many tourists to do a double take. Cannabis Mayonnaise is slated to make an appearance on the food item list at the eatery named Manneken Pis, offering customers a chance to cover their French fries or side dish of choice with the flavor of marijuana.
