Different kinds of chins are reportedly sexy.

Human beings are the only animals with a chin, and they come in slightly different shapes and sizes.

Research shows that women are attracted to a more masculine jaw line.

But a study from Dartmouth College that looked at 180 skeletons from different Old-World locations found that there is no dominant chin shape for men or women.

According to Seth Dobson, an assistant professor in the anthropology department at Dartmouth College: “We reasoned that if they are universal, the preferences actually influence evolution and that people would have the same chin shapes. That is not the case.”

Another chin related question is: do women find men with a beard more attractive?

Professor Robert Brooks and Barnaby Dixson, a post-doctoral researcher at the University of New South Wales conducted a study on how women viewed men differently depending on whether or not they had a beard.

They rated men with heavy stubble as more attractive then clean shaven and fully bearded men, but they also rated the men with full beards as being more masculine and better parents than the others.
