MacFarlane criticizes hoax clip, Aniston walks red carpet

Seth MacFarlane has criticized an online hoax clip of his animated series, "Family Guy," which was edited to make it look like main character Peter Griffin planned explosions at the Boston marathon. MacFarlane called the clip "abhorrent" and the original episode - which aired last month and did depict the main character running people over in his car at the marathon - has been pulled by Fox broadcasting.

Jennifer Aniston hit the red carpet in Los Angeles for the premiere of the made-for-TV movie "Call Me Crazy." Aniston served as executive producer on the project, and assembled an all-star cast, which among others includes Jennifer Hudson. Hudson also walked the red carpet. The film is comprised of five shorts, all dealing with the challenges of mental illness. It will air on U.S. cable channel Lifetime on April 20.

Late screenwriter and director Nora Ephron will have an award named in her honor at the Tribeca Film Festival. The 25,000 dollar prize will go to a female
