Montenegro goes to the polls to elect a new President in only the second general election since separating from Serbia in 2006.

Incumbent Montenegrin President Filip Vujanovic is favourite, as his ruling Democratic Party of Socialists first orchestrated independence for the country. Vujanovic has expressed confidence in a re-election.
