Denver police released surveillance video showing the moment when a driver hit and critically injured a high school student in Denver, Colorado.

Police are asking for the publics help finding the driver of a Dodge Stratus.

The DenverChannel.com reports the hit-and-run crash happened on Colfax Avenue, Wednesday morning, injuring a student from East High School.

Denver have a partial license plate: 226-WD_. The vehicle reportedly has front end damage on the driver's side.
