Reports of "superbug" infections are reportedly way up in hospitals across the U.S., and the Center for Disease Control says the worst of these superbugs is one called CRE (carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae), and it kills about half the people it infects. The superbug has only been found in hospitals so far, but the CDC is working to prevent it from spreading to the outside world.
