Former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick has been found guilty on public corruption charges.

The mayor was convicted on charges of racketeering and conspiracy.

The mayor's father, Bernard Kilpatrick, and friend Bobby Ferguson, were also convicted on as part of what prosecutors called a "private profit machine" run by the mayor out of city hall.
