Workers at Spanish airline Iberia have called off further strikes and accepted a deal from a government-appointed mediator.

They had staged two five-day walkouts in February and March, halting thousands of flights, in a dispute over job and salary cuts.

Iberia says it needs to restructure to compete with low cost airlines.
