A homeless man sues his own parents for not loving him.
How far would you go if you had issues with your parents?
A 32-year-old man, Bernard Bey from Brooklyn has filed a lawsuit against his own parents for not loving him.
In the self-written suit, he claims that their neglect and lack of caring led him to become homeless. Bey is seeking $200,000 in damages citing physical and emotional abuse, which caused him to run away from home when he was 12 and live in shelters until he was 16 years of age.
He has also spent time in prison during his rough life. His parents live in public housing and say they cannot come up with the funds to pay him, but in the end, Bey really only wants to have a relationship with them. He states “Let's work together, and definitely, I'll drop the suit.”
Last year, a Cincinnati college student, Aubrey Ireland took her issues with her mom and dad to court. The parents reportedly admitted to installing software on Aubrey's laptop and cell phone, which would allow them to monitor everything she was doing and who she was communicating with.
A judge issued a stalking order against the parents.
