A group claims that a GEICO ad insinuates bestiality.

The latest GEICO insurance company television ad has a women’s activist group up in arms.

The ad features the company’s pig spokes-animal in a convertible with a human woman, presumably on a date.

The car breaks down and the pig calls a tow truck using the GEICO app on his smartphone.

When the woman finds out that the tow truck is on it’s way she looks suggestively at the pig and says this:

The group One Million Moms is upset because they think that the ad insinuates bestiality, and it is inappropriate for children.

GEICO’s other spokes animal is a gecko.

Monica Cole, the spokesperson for One Million Moms said: “A bridesmaid was flirting with the gecko in a different commercial, so this is just becoming a norm for GEICO.”

What do you think? How would you characterize the ad? Clever? Memorable? Inappropriate?
