At least 14 have been killed and many others injured in a blaze which swept through an illegal market in Calcutta early this morning.
The source of the fire remains unclear, but a officials say a short circuit could be to blame. State Fire Services Minister Javed Khan has said the death toll is likely to rise as many could still be trapped inside the building.
