Calm prevails in this resort on the Pacific island of Guam.
But waiter Sid Tinoso tells of the nightmare he witnessed here on Wednesday when a man stabbed two Japanese tourists to death.

"I didn't think anything, you know, I just reacted, jumped over those people, tried to chase him. His attention first... I tried to get his attention by taking off my shirt and using it as a guard. I got his attention so he started to run through Underwater World, so I chased him."
21-year-old Chad Desoto is accused of the attack, first using his car to target pedestrians before crashing and continuing on foot.
Media say one man has since died after being hit by the attacker's car bringing the death toll to three.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) WITNESS, SID TINOSO SAYING:
"The lady was on her knees trying to wake up her mum - the old lady on the ground - holding the baby. He ran in back of her and repeatedly stabbed her. The baby dropped the same time she dropped, but the baby made a really bad sound, man. Out of instinct, already chasing him, I just jumped far and at the same time pushed him - we both rolled, he got up, still holding the knife, so I grabbed him by his waist."
All three victims are reported to be Japanese.
Visitors from Japan are the mainstay of Guam's tourism industry.
