With the pressure building on her, the Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit on Wednesday (February 6) made a shocking statement saying that due to the lack of security women are not safe in Delhi. This comes after Lajpat Nagar's incident on Tuesday when an a young woman was seriously injured when a 25-year-old man working with a local power distribution company allegedly assaulted her brutally by shoving an iron rod into her mouth while attempting to rape her.
