A train that crashed into a Stockholm apartment building earlier this month, was finally removed on Monday with the help of two cranes and a tractor.
A total of five hooks, two on each crane, and one on the tractor, helped to slowly lift the train out of the kitchen and living room of a ground floor apartment.
The process was slow and calculated so they didn’t accidentally cause the building to collapse.
The front of the car smashed into the apartment building on January 15th after the runaway train ran through the barrier at the end of the railway line.
The incident has been ruled an accident.
